Preventive health services

Afrah’s preventive health services are mainly targeted at primary prevention; preventing illnesses, injuries or medical conditions before they happen. This is because most of the major risk factors leading to many major medical conditions (both communicable and non-communicable), injuries and premature death are preventable. Frequent health screening programmes are organized at the hospital premises and on-site for corporate institutions, such as breast screening, hepatitis screening, cervical cancer screening with vaccination just to mention a few.
